Super Junior's Kyuhyun was a guest star on BIGBANG's Daesung's YouTube channel on February 7, 2025. On that occasion, the two singers chatted about their lives and career journeys from their debut until now.
At one point, Daesung mentioned that Kyuhyun has also successfully been part of all the popular TV shows. "I'm also watching 'Single's Inferno 4' right now. There are a lot of programs that hyung starred in," said Daesung.
Daesung detailed the programs that Kyuhyun has appeared on, such as "Han Moon-chul's Dashcam Review," "Single's Inferno," and "Naked World History." Kyuhyun replied, "Actually... There are a lot of people who are eyeing my spot."
Daesung then revealed that the programs featuring Kyuhyun, the filming process is quite relaxed. "Then programs like that are very comfortable. We just watch the VCR," said Daesung. However, Kyuhyun apparently did not think so.
"Do you think it's comfortable? No... 'Naked World History' was listened to for 10 hours. We filmed 2 episodes. One was 5 hours. In the front row of history class, you can't fall asleep...! Think about it if you have to listen to it for 5 hours...!"
Kyuhyun replied. Daesung began to realize that Kyuhyun's filming process was difficult. "Okay, okay, it's hard," Daesung replied. Kyuhyun added, "It's harder than I thought. Then 'Han Moon-chul's Dashcam Review' was the same."
Kyuhyun said that he had to keep seeing the accident moments. "We kept having traffic accidents…! Many people think it's comfortable. It looks comfortable because you see the edited results… But it wasn't so easy for us there."
Kyuhyun's statement about the difficulty of filming the variety show he stars in immediately sparked debate. Many were jealous that Kyuhyun could work so easily. Others defended him because the job was indeed not easy. " I feel angry because I'm jealous of her job [sic!] ," wrote one netizen.
