BTS's Jin will be releasing his latest album in exactly a month. BIGHIT MUSIC management confirmed this news, Jin will be releasing his second mini album titled Echo. As reported by the Korea Times on Wednesday April 16, 2025, this album will be launched on all digital music platforms on May 16, 2025 at 1 pm Korean time (11.00 WIB).
Echo was released seven months after Jin's first EP, Happy. Last year, the EP marked his comeback to music after a brief hiatus due to his military service. Echo album will contain 7 new songs. Fun fact, this album was not actually planned to be released in May 2025.
BIGHIT MUSIC already has a release schedule in another month and a little bit later. But because Jin wanted to meet his fans again sooner, he asked for the release to be moved forward. The comeback announcement of the man whose real name is Kim Seok Jin was on a big screen at K-Pop Square, COEX Exhibition Center, in Seoul.
Every 30 minutes the giant screen played a video of Jin announcing his comeback date. In the video, Jin is seen holding a white board with the date May 16, 2025 written on it. He sits in front of a white background with many white, black, gray, and blue teddy bears around him.
