Byeon Woo Seok's Name Was Used for Fraud!

Actor Byeon Woo Seok's popularity has not only brought him money and praise, but also bad things like fraud. Varo Entertainment management recently reported that there was a fraud attempt using the artist's name. 

The Lovely Runner actor's name was used for fraud under the pretext of a fan meeting. Irresponsible parties used Byeon Woo Seok's name to profit from fans. These individuals claim that they have received exclusive rights to hold fan meetings and events related to Byeon Woo Seok. 

Not wanting this to continue and harm the public, the management issued an official statement. Confirming that they are not involved in cooperation with a third party in holding an event related to Byeon Woo Seok.

"We have never given exclusive rights or signed any contracts with any third-party agencies regarding Byeon Woo Seok's fan meeting or other related events," Varo Entertainment was quoted as saying by the Korea Times on Wednesday March 26, 2025.

"We urge everyone to be vigilant to avoid any detrimental involvement in these illegal activities," they continued. Since his name became more popular thanks to Lovely Runner, Byeon Woo Seok seems to have been in the spotlight non-stop. 

After the tvN drama ended, he was mobbed by fans at the airport to the point that extraordinary security was deployed that disturbed the public. On the other hand, he also continues to be busy with various activities in the entertainment industry. 

In addition to official fanmeeting activities in various countries in Asia, he is also filming the latest MBC Korean drama with IU titled Wife of a 21st Century Prince (working title). Byeon Woo Seok is currently a model for more than 20 brands in South Korea.
