Son Heung-min showed off his six-pack abs as a model for Calvin Klein. The The Tottenham star is the new face of the South Korean fashion brand. Son Heung-min was delighted to land the gig and praised Calvin Klein after posing in their underwear during his first photoshoot for the brand.
The winger is a brand ambassador and spoke about his new partnership with the company in a statement. “Calvin Klein products have held a special place in my wardrobe for many years, so our partnership was a natural fit,” he said.
“Like so many people around the world, I am constantly inspired by iconic brand campaigns, so being the face of them is both exciting and surreal.” Son Heung-min is also a global ambassador for Burberry and began his role with the company in June.
The Tottenham star described working with the luxury designer brand as an “honour”. “As a Premier League athlete, I am honoured to be associated with a brand with such rich British heritage,” he said.
“I love Burberry's commitment to imagination and innovation, which is deeply rooted in its history, and these are values I aspire to embody.” Son Heung-min has also modeled for Ralph Lauren and appeared in their latest collection at Wimbledon last year.
The striker may be planning a career in fashion when he hangs up his boots but for now he is continuing to impress on the pitch. Last week, Son Heung-min stunned fans with a late free-kick that helped South Korea draw 2-2 with Costa Rica.
