Yoo Jae Suk is known as a National MC who is very experienced in TV broadcasts and interacting with the public. However, who would have thought that the comedian recently made a factual blunder on TV.
On the latest episode of MBC's "How Do You Play?" that aired on April 26, 2025, Yoo Jae Suk found himself in an awkward situation that made everyone cringe. The popular comedian even had to apologize to someone.
During the broadcast of "How Do You Play?", Yoo Jae Suk, Haha, Lee Mijoo, and Lim Woo Il were busy helping out as part of the "Good Deed Corporation" project. Their job was to support an online filial piety campaign and do good deeds.
The team heads to a 20-year-old stationery store to help out. While Mijoo enjoys a cherry blossom viewing trip with the shop owner, the other members are tasked with selling science supplies, gliders, and model kits on the streets.
As they work hard to make sales, the three of them meet a couple and engage them in a short chat. Yoo Jae Suk, always polite, asks the woman, “Do you have a minute?” The woman agreed to talk to the "How Do You Play?" member, but what happened next shocked her.
Yoo Jae Suk asked innocently, "Is the person next to you your son?" To his surprise, the woman quickly replied, “She’s my girlfriend.” The moment was incredibly awkward, and Haha, realizing the awkward situation, immediately scolded Yoo Jae Suk for his question.
Haha shouted, “Are you crazy?” Yoo Jae Suk, who realized his fatal blunder, immediately apologized and said, "I thought it was weird too. He looked like he was dressed for the academy. I'm sorry. I think they look really good together.
Anyone can see that he's her boyfriend." Although the situation was getting awkward, Yoo Jae Suk tried to make up for his mistake by taking a selfie with the couple. Luckily, things didn’t get any more awkward.
Yoo Jae Suk eventually pulled away with an embarrassed smile, still trying to laugh off his big mistake. Fans couldn't help but laugh at Jae Suk's hilarious misunderstanding, and his constant apologies only added to the comedy of the moment.
