Adapted from a popular webtoon, the Korean drama The First Night With the Duke follows the story of a college student named K (played by Seohyun) who gets transported to the Joseon era and possesses the body of a supporting character from a romance novel, Cha Sun Chaek. Somehow, K spends a romantic night with Lee Beon (played by Ok TaecYeon), a royal noble.
In the Korean drama The First Night With the Duke, Seohyun brings to life the character of a gen-z college student and daughter of a noble family who dreams of having a life as a commoner. Meanwhile, Ok TaecYeon transforms into the main character of a romance novel who is loved by the king and has a heartbreaking past.
