Danielle opened her heart to fans after NewJeans (NJZ) was forced to go on hiatus due to a court ruling. On April 30, 2025, the idol wrote a touching message via a fan communication account. It was her first post in a while, and fans were quick to show their love.
Danielle wrote, "When I read all the letters that the Bunnyz (NewJeans' fan club) sent, I felt so many emotions. Danielle admits to remembering how powerful a single word can be. "A sentence can bring comfort, and writing can really touch someone's heart.
Most importantly, I felt how strong and warm Bunnyz was," she added. Danielle continued, "Every time I read a letter, I can feel your sincerity. It feels like your words are healing me, little by little. I really feel like Bunnyz are holding my hand and really believe in me."
Danielle also left a message to always remember that we are not alone. "I hope we can comfort each other when needed. Even though we can't meet or hug in person, I'm sure we can still give each other strength and positive energy," she continued.
Danielle ended her letter by saying, "Thank you for being my supporter during the hardest times. Thank you for always providing a light at the end of the tunnel, and for believing in me and my members."
Fans called the letter a healing moment, as it came after NewJeans' difficult legal battle with their agency ADOR. In November 2024, NewJeans announced that they would be halting group activities, saying that their contract with ADOR was no longer valid.
However, ADOR took the matter to court, seeking legal action to stop the group from signing a new deal or leaving the agency. The court sided with ADOR and rejected NewJeans' arguments, including claims about the lack of producers after former CEO Min Hee Jin was fired. The group appealed, but the court rejected it again.
During this difficult time, NewJeans called themselves "revolutionaries" and stopped all activities. Now, with Danielle's emotional message, fans are feeling hopeful again. Many Bunnyz left supportive comments like, "We will always believe in you" and "Take as much time as you need."
