BTS's Jin finally officially made a comeback with his second solo album titled 'Echo.' Precisely on Friday May 16, 2025. Along with that, the music video for the title track titled 'Don't Say You Love Me' has also been officially shared via the HYBE Labels YouTube channel.

'Don't Say You Love Me' is performed entirely in English lyrics. The song itself tells about a couple who are increasingly distant, and trying to end their relationship. However, both of them are still not willing to let each other go.

'Don't Say You Love Me' is presented with a pop music genre, and carries a medium and calming music tempo. The lively nuances of the band's music deepen the delivery of the sad atmosphere in the song.

Opening with a melodic intro, the song immediately pours out deep doubts and feelings of confusion. The desire to leave and end the relationship crosses his mind many times, but there is still something holding him back from doing so.

Even though he had to pretend to smile in the middle of a relationship that felt empty. Not meaning to hurt each other by wasting time. However, over time the relationship that was going through felt increasingly difficult.

Until he spills everything in the chorus, through lyrics that read, " Don't tell me that you'll miss me/ Just say you want to take my life/ Don't say you love me because that's the most painful thing/ Just let me go /" In the second verse, he reveals his regret for the decision to maintain the love that he previously thought was the best.

However, in fact, all the efforts made were unsuccessful and instead caused wounds and tightness in the chest. Accompanying the song 'Don't Say You Love Me,' Jin presents a dramatic music video.

Starring actress Shin Se Kyung makes the music video of the song feel like a scene in a Korean drama. Jin and Shin Se Kyung also share sweet chemistry, and live their respective roles expressively. Playing a couple who are unwilling to let each other go, even though their love affair is slowly falling apart.

The two of them keep running away and meeting again. At the end of the video, they are seen sitting together in a car, but ignoring each other. Depicting a relationship without hope and a future.

'Don't Say You Love Me' is not just a song to express feelings of confusion about a failed relationship. However, it contains a message to music lovers out there not to force themselves to maintain a relationship that can no longer be saved.

Not to be selfish to yourself and your partner, because it will only end up hurting each other. In addition to the title track 'Don't Say You Love Me,' BTS Jin's second solo album also features a number of other b-side tracks.

These include the songs 'Nothing Without Your Love,' 'Loser' ft. Yena, 'Rope It,' 'A Journey With Clouds,' 'Background,' and 'To Today's Me.' BTS 'Jin specifically participated in writing the lyrics for the songs on this album.
