Each contract fee is around 1 billion won to 1.2 billion won. He added that companies are usually reluctant to say they are the first to file a lawsuit against their model. However, once one company files a lawsuit, more companies are expected to follow suit later.
Meanwhile, the production team of the drama Knock Off previously announced the cessation of filming, and is now reportedly discussing punishment for Kim Soo Hyun's breach of contract due to Ongoing allegations regarding the actor's relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron have prompted the cancellation of one of Disney + Korea's most expensive projects.
Industry speculation suggests the cost could be as high as ₩180 billion KRW or three times the production budget. However, no official figures have been confirmed. The drama's production budget is estimated to be ₩60.0 billion KRW (approximately $42.0 million USD).
