Yoo Seung Ho a South Korean actor who has been known since childhood, is back in the public spotlight not only because of his latest acting project, but also because of the kindness he has been doing secretly for a long time.

Known as the “Nation’s Little Brother,” Yoo has been donating medical expenses for sick children for years and has been a volunteer at a stray cat shelter —all without the knowledge of the media or his agency. On May 29, 2025, Newsen media revealed that Yoo regularly donates to help children's medical treatment.

Quoting from Allkpop on Friday May 30, 2025, a netizen shared a personal story: " My child is hospitalized. Yoo Seung Ho once donated to help us. My wife wrote a thank you letter at that time, and we have never forgotten his kindness.

Even according to Newsen's research, many of these donations were unknown to his own agency, 333 Entertainment. Yoo’s love for children—which perhaps grew out of his experiences as a child actor—is evident in his involvement in various charity campaigns.

This May 2025, he was appointed as the ambassador for the “Happy Walk” campaign organized by McDonald’s and RMHC Korea. In commemoration of 'Family Month,' he donated 10 million won along with all his participation fees to Ronald McDonald House Charities Korea.

The donation will be used to build a new halfway house in the metropolitan area, so that children undergoing long-term care can live close to the hospital with their families without the burden of accommodation costs.

Last April 2025, Yoo even visited the Ronald McDonald House in Yangsan, Gyeongnam, where he gave support and gifts to young patients and their families. In her statement, she said, " I am grateful to be able to share the love I have received in a meaningful way.

I hope my presence can bring hope and courage to children who are struggling. " Not only caring for fellow humans, the actor born in 1993 is also known as an animal lover, especially stray cats. For years, he has routinely visited shelters without a manager and donated his time and energy to care for stray cats .

The bio on her social media account even reads " Cats conquering the Earth, " accompanied by two cat emojis—representing two stray cats she has adopted. In an interview with JTBC Newsroom in 2023 as quoted from KStarTrend.

Yoo revealed his dream, " This may sound strange, but I want to save as much as possible from my acting earnings. My dream is to establish an animal shelter someday. " His agency also admitted that they often only learned about the actor's social actions from fans' stories.

According to 333 Entertainment, Yoo is reluctant to reveal his charity work because he feels embarrassed to publish it. Meanwhile, Yoo is currently appearing on stage in the play 'Killing Caesar,' which is being staged at Sogang University's Mary Hall Grand Theater until July 20, 2025.

The play is a reinterpretation of Shakespeare's classic 'Julius Caesar,' which explores the political irony behind Caesar's assassination. In the show, Yoo played Brutus—a character who chose to betray his best friend for the sake of the republic. His acting was praised for conveying deep emotions with strong intensity.

With his acts of kindness slowly coming to light, Yoo Seung Ho has once again proven that he is not only a talented actor, but also an inspiring figure who is humble and loving. His concern for children, stray animals, and his commitment to acting make him a role model to be respected.
