ASTRO's JinJin will not be doing military service. JinJin was given an exception due to his health condition. As a result, JinJin could not go to the military with his bandmate, Cha Eun Woo. This was revealed by ASTRO's agency, Fantagio, in an official statement via the group's fancafe.

According to Fantagio, JinJin has an autoimmune condition that makes him unable to serve in the military. "JinJin has been deemed unfit for military duty after a detailed medical examination by the Military Manpower Administration due to health issues related to an autoimmune condition,"

Fantagio wrote in a statement quoted from Soompi, on Tuesday June 3, 2025. Fantagio stated that although JinJin's condition does not interfere with his daily life, the ASTRO member must visit the hospital for further examination and treatment.

Based on the results of his health check, the owner of the real name Park Jin Woo will find it difficult to join the military. Fantagio said that it prioritizes JinJin's health and asks for fans' support for his future activities.

"Our company places the health of our artists as our top priority and will continue to support their activities with that in mind," Fantagio wrote. Fantagio also thanked fans for their support.

They asked for fans' support for JinJin's future activities. "We sincerely thank all fans for your continued love and support, and we respectfully ask for your continued attention to JinJin's future endeavors," Fantagio wrote.

Previously, on Friday May 9, 2025, ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo was reported to be enlisting in the military soon. Cha Eun Woo recently attended an interview with the Army's military band unit at the Ministry of National Defense by eyewitnesses.
