iKON's DK aka Donghyuk announced that he will be enlisting in the military. He enlisted in the Army Military Band. The announcement of DK's military service was revealed by 143 Entertainment as the agency that oversees iKON.
They said DK will start his active military service on July 28, 2025. "DK applied for the Army Military Band, and he recently received his final acceptance notice from the Military Manpower Administration.
He plans to enlist as an active soldier on July 28, 2025 to fulfill his military duties," the statement released on Monday June 9, 2025. The agency explained that there was no special event when DK would leave for the Recruitment Training Center. Fans were also expected not to fill the release area.
"As many soldiers and their families will be present on the day of enlistment at the Recruit Training Center, there will be no separate events held to prevent safety incidents. We ask for the understanding of fans," he continued.
