South Korean actor, So Ji Sub has amazed the public with his generosity. It was revealed that the actor gave valuable gifts to the crew and cast involved in his new action series, Mercy for None.
This was revealed by fellow Mercy for None cast members when they appeared as guest stars on Na Yeong Seok's YouTube channel, Channel Fullmoon some time ago. In that episode, So Ji Sub appeared with his co-stars, namely Ahn Gil Kang, Gong Myung, and Cho Han Cheul.
While casually discussing the joys and sorrows of filming, Ahn Gil Kang revealed that So Ji Sub had given a valuable gift to the crew and cast of Mercy for None. The prize is known to be a gold ring weighing one don or 3.75 grams for everyone involved in the production process of Mercy for None .
"Everyone can, from the cast to the crew," said Ahn Gil Kang, quoted Monday June 9, 2025. Na Yeong Seok who heard this immediately joked, asking why he didn't get gold when working with So Ji Sub. This then invited laughter from the guest stars.
So Ji Sub then revealed that the gift of the gold ring had become his personal habit. He used his personal money to give gifts to the crew and cast who worked with him as a token of gratitude. "I use my own money.
This time I chose gold, not only as a souvenir, but also so that when times are tough, I can sell it. This is a form of my gratitude," said So Ji Sub. So Ji Sub has long been known as a top South Korean actor who is always humble and sincere to those around him.
