Jun Ji Hyun has ended her exclusive contract with IEUM HASHTAG after three years of working together. IEUM HASHTAG is the agency that also houses actress Kim So Hyun. "Our exclusive contract with Jun Ji Hyun has ended.
Both parties have agreed not to renew the collaboration contract," said IEUM HASHTAG. During her career with IEUM HASTAG, Jun Ji Hyun was only involved in one Korean drama project, namely Tempest, which will air next year on Disney+ Hotstar.
In the drama, Jun Ji Hyun acts with Kang Dong Woon. The woman who is also known as Gianna Jun plays a diplomat and former UN ambassador named Moon Ji. Jun Ji Hyun will also be involved in the zombie-themed film, Colony.
She and Ji Chang Wook have been confirmed as the main characters in the film directed by Train to Busan director Yeon Sang Ho. In addition, Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook are also being eyed to star in the Korean drama Human X Gumiho (working title).
According to OSEN , the two are currently reviewing the drama's script. The drama Human X Gumiho is a project by Lim Meari, the writer behind the dramas Beauty Inside (2018) and One Day, Destruction Walked into Our Front Door (2021).
Lim Meari was also an assistant writer for Kim Eun Sook (Secret Garden, Goblin, and The Glory). Fans are already eagerly anticipating the upcoming project involving Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook.
