TWICE's Chaeyoung is rumored to be making her solo debut soon. This news was confirmed by the agency JYP Entertainment on June 10, 2025. In a statement to Maeil Business Star Today, a JYP Entertainment representative stated, “TWICE’s Chaeyoung is currently preparing for her solo debut.

Details regarding the release date will be announced later.”  Although there is no definite date yet, Chaeyoung's solo debut is expected to take place in the fall of this year, after TWICE completes their comeback activities as a group and appearances at international festivals.

With this move, Chaeyoung becomes the fourth TWICE member to release a solo work, following Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu who have already debuted as soloists. Meanwhile, three Japanese members, Mina, Sana, and Momo, were previously active as a unit called MISAMO.

TWICE, who debuted in 2015, is known for a string of hit songs such as TT, Feel Special, Signal, More & More, and Cheer Up. Their decade-long career has made TWICE one of the leading K-pop groups on the global scene.
