OH MY GIRL's YooA has officially joined Saram Entertainment, an agency that also houses famous South Korean actors and actresses such as Gong Myung, Jo Jin Woong, Choi Soo Young, and Han Ye Ri.
On Monday June 2, 2025, Saram Entertainment announced that they are excited to welcome YooA to start her acting career. "We are very happy to accompany YooA at the beginning of her acting journey.
We will provide full support so that YooA can work actively in various fields," said the agency representative. YooA debuted as a member of OH MY GIRL in 2015 and has produced a number of hit songs such as 'Bbi Bbi Bbi', 'Nonstop', 'Dolphin', and 'Dun Dun Dance'.
In addition to being active with the group, YooA is also the first member of OH MY GIRL to start a solo career. She released her first mini album 'Bon Voyage' in 2020, followed by her second mini album 'SELFISH' and the single 'Borderline'.
Now, YooA is ready to try her hand at acting with her debut in the crime drama film 'Project Y' (working title). The film tells the story of a group of people trying to escape their hard lives by stealing hidden black money and gold bars, triggering a series of tense events.
