Former member of South Korean boy group Monsta X, Wonho has once again captured the attention of global fans through his special covers of songs from the hit Netflix series, 'KPop Demon Hunters'.
On July 9, 2025 at 10:30 PM KST, his agency Highline Entertainment released two cover videos through their official YouTube channel, featuring Wonho singing 'Soda Pop' and 'Your Idol' by the fictional group Saja Boys from the series.
In the video for "Soda Pop," Wonho looks stunning, resembling his character Abby from "KPop Demon Hunters." Wearing a yellow beanie, a floral shirt, and jeans, he successfully embodies the character from head to toe.
Wonho's distinctive melodious voice brings a fresh touch to "Soda Pop," delighting listeners with a different interpretation of the original. Furthermore, he showcases his incredible dancing skills, flawlessly executing the song's intricate choreography.
The iconic moment in the video occurs when Wonho intentionally "rips" his shirt, resembling Abby's scene, revealing his defined abs. This performance has fans worldwide thrilled. Meanwhile, in the "Your Idol" video, the atmosphere changes drastically.
Wonho appears in a grim reaper costume in a dark room lit by red lights. His stunning appearance, complete with a flowing black cape, creates a dramatic aura, reminiscent of a movie. He dances captivatingly, perfectly blending with the song's choreography.
On the other hand, Wonho is currently preparing for his South American tour titled 'Stay Awake' 2025. He will perform in four cities, namely Santiago (Chile) on July 12, 3025, São Paulo (Brazil) on July 15, 2025, Monterrey (Mexico) on July 18, 3025, and Mexico City on July 20, 2025.
