South Korean singer Lee Min, whose alias is Lee Min Young, a member of the female duo As One, has reportedly died at the age of 46. According to Allkpop, Lee Min was found dead at home on August 5, 2025 KST.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of his sudden death. A representative from BRANDNEW MUSIC stated on August 6, 2025, “The police are conducting an investigation,” and asked the public to refrain from excessive speculation until the official results are announced.
According to music industry sources, Lee Min has been active until recently. She released a new single titled "Happy Birthday" in June 2025 and also appeared on "Park Bo Gum's Cantabile."
A longtime friend of the late singer shared, "She was such a positive person. She just got back to her activities and was enjoying herself. I still can't believe it." Another acquaintance added, "I just met him last week.
She's always been sincere and hardworking, balancing music and her work as an instructor." Lee Min debuted in 1999 as part of the duo As One, known for hits such as "For You I Long and Resent", "Day by Day", "Don't Be Silly", and "Am I the One Who Should Apologize".
