BLACKPINK's Jennie's personal label, Odd Atelier (OA), will soon move to a new building in the elite area of Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. This decision comes as the lease on the single-family home in Itaewon-dong, currently used as an office, expires in October 2025.

Odd Atelier is scheduled to move into the new building in early November after interior renovations are complete. The new building that will be the headquarters of Odd Atelier is a modern four-story commercial facility with one basement floor, with a total area of approximately 927 m².

The building was completed in April 2024 and designed by renowned Korean-American architect Hong Taesun, who was awarded an honorary fellowship by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in 2024. Hong is known for works such as Lotte Premium Outlet Paju, Yeouido Ricenzia, and Pocheon Hillmaru Golf Club.

The building features an exterior design reminiscent of an art gallery, uses premium materials, and offers panoramic views of the Han River from its rooftop. It features a 16-passenger elevator, restrooms on every floor, and parking for seven vehicles.

Based on market data for the end of 2024, the rental value of this building is estimated to reach 60-80 million won per month with a deposit of 1.5-2.5 billion won, while the selling price is estimated at around 45 billion won.The building is strategically located near the main street of Hannam-daegyo, providing easy access to Gangnam and Gangbuk.

Close to the Hangangjin subway station (line 6) and the Gyeongui-Jungang line, as well as the Hannam Ogeori bus stop, which is just a three-minute walk away, the building is also surrounded by trendy cafes, restaurants, and other amenities that are characteristic of Hannam-dong.

According to a local real estate agent, the building was once sought after by several artists for exclusive rentals due to its ideal location and scale. "Jennie quickly sealed the contract for exclusive use of the building," he said, as reported by Chosun.

Jennie's decision to move Odd Atelier's office was allegedly influenced by a controversy surrounding a building code violation at her previous office. The building in Itaewon-dong, originally licensed as an art gallery, was used as an office without a change-of-use permit.

The Yongsan District Government reportedly plans to impose administrative sanctions on the building's owner. Jennie founded Odd Atelier in 2023 after renewing her contract with YG Entertainment solely for BLACKPINK activities, opting to pursue solo projects independently.
