The animated film 'KPop Demon Hunters' has made history on the Netflix streaming platform. According to official data from Netflix statistics site Tudum, 'KPop Demon Hunters' recorded 266 million cumulative views, making it the most-watched content of all time on Netflix, beating the first season of 'Squid Game'.

Two weeks ago, 'KPop Demon Hunters' was still in third place with the number of views below 'Squid Game' season one (2021, 265.2 million views) and 'Wednesday' season one (2022, 252.1 million views). However, thanks to its immense popularity and the phenomenon of repeat viewers, the film managed to skyrocket and take over the top spot.

Netflix measures content rankings based on cumulative views over 91 days from its release date. "KPop Demon Hunters," which was released on June 20, 2025, still has about two weeks to continue gaining views. Given its current performance, it seems unlikely that any other content will overtake "KPop Demon Hunters" anytime soon.

The film follows the adventures of a fictional K-Pop idol group called HUNTR/X, who use the power of music to fight evil spirits and protect the world. One of the keys to the success of 'KPop Demon Hunters' is its incredible soundtrack (OST). The title track, "Golden," even topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for three weeks.
