South Korean actress Han So Hee has been tapped by Netflix again! After previously starring in the Netflix original series My Name (2021) and Gyeongseong Creature (2023), Han So Hee has now been offered a role in the live-action Solo Leveling.

As reported by Sports Kyunghyang on Monday (September 1, 2025), Han So Hee received an offer to play the female lead in Solo Leveling, Cha Hae In. Cha Hae In's character is the female lead who is paired with Sung Jin Woo.

9ato Entertainment management has spoken out about the offer received from their artist. They confirmed that Han So Hee was approached to join the Solo Leveling project, but no decision has been made yet.

"One of the projects currently under consideration," they said. Last July 2025, Netflix announced a live-action adaptation of Solo Leveling.  Byeon Woo Seok was confirmed to star in the lead role as Sung Jin Woo.

"Originally a Korean web novel and adapted into a webtoon, anime series, and video game, the Solo Leveling IP is beloved and a global phenomenon. The live-action adaptation is coming to Netflix," Netflix wrote on its official website.

The live-action Solo Leveling has just begun production. Lee Hae Jun has been tapped to direct the project. Lee Hae Jun is known for his work on Ashfall, Like a Virgin, and Castaway on the Moon.

Lee Hae Jun won't be alone. For the live-action Solo Leveling, he will be collaborating with director Kim Byung Seo. This director is known for his unique approach, stylish action, and striking visuals.

Solo Leveling tells the story of Sung Jin Woo, an E-rank Hunter, the lowest level, tasked with protecting the world from monsters. After a life-threatening incident, his abilities increase and he levels up, ultimately becoming a hope for humanity.

This year's Solo Leveling anime won big at the Crunchyroll Awards, winning awards like Anime of the Year, Best Action, and Best Character. There is no release date for the live action Solo Leveling yet.
