The Korean drama "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty" achieved its highest ratings since its fourth episode. The episode featured Yoona and Lee Chae Min's kissing scene, which immediately sent viewers into hysterics.

As reported by Nielsen Korea, the Korean drama Bon Appetit, Your Majesty continues to see ratings increase with each new episode. The first episode achieved a rating of 4.8%, followed by the second at 6.6%, and the third at 7.5%.

In just two weeks since its premiere, the Korean drama Bon Appetit, Your Majesty has reached double-digit ratings. The fourth episode, which aired on Sunday (August 31, 2025), officially achieved its highest rating yet, at 11%.

Now Bon Appetit, Your Majesty is the highest-rated Korean drama broadcast on cable television station tvN, throughout 2025. The rating of its fourth episode even rivaled all news and drama shows from other television stations at the same time.

Bon Appetit Your Majesty follows the story of French chef Yeon Ji Young (played by Yoona), who travels back in time 500 years and meets the Joseon king, Lee Heon (played by Lee Chae Min), who is considered a culinary expert and the worst tyrant.

In the fourth episode of Bon Appetit Your Majesty, Yeon Ji Young attempts to cheer up Yi Heon, who is depressed over painful memories of his mother. She cooks soybean paste associated with the king's childhood. 

Touched by Ji Young's sincerity, Yi Heon begins to express his curiosity about the woman who claims to be from the future. Their emotional tension peaked when a drunk and fragile Yi Heon suddenly pulled Ji Yeong closer. 

With tears in her eyes, Ji Yeong froze as he whispered, "Stay like this, just for a little while," before Yi Heon leaned in for a passionate kiss. The unexpected kiss scene sent fans into a frenzy, and fans are eagerly awaiting episode five. 

With 12 episodes, the Korean drama 'Bon Appetit Your Majesty' will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 PM KST on tvN. International fans can also watch it legally with English subtitle on Netflix.
