TXT's Beomgyu's solo song from the album "The Star Chapter: Together" is suspected of being plagiarized by an international singer. The song, titled " Take My Half," was reportedly plagiarized by a singer named Gravey, who changed the title to " Take My Hand ."
After a heated discussion among fans, BIGHIT MUSIC, the agency that houses TXT's Beomgyu, finally responded. The HYBE-owned agency confirmed that they would take legal action due to the similarities between the two songs.
"We have conducted an internal investigation regarding the alleged plagiarism of Beomgyu's song, Take My Half. After a thorough investigation, we found that there are similarities between the two songs, and we are currently discussing with legal representatives to take action," read the official statement from BIGHIT MUSIC, quoted Friday October 17, 2025.
Furthermore, BIGHIT MUSIC emphasized that an artist's work is a unique asset that deserves full recognition. Therefore, they affirmed that they will take all necessary steps to protect their artists' rights. "We apologize for causing concern among fans.
We will continue to work hard to ensure the protection of our artists' rights in order to create a healthy creative environment. Thank you," concluded BIGHIT MUSIC. Take My Half is a solo song by TXT's Beomgyu which was released on the group's latest album, The Star Chapter: Together on July 21, 2025.
The song, which conveys the deep feelings of TXT's Beomgyu, sparked outrage among fans when it was plagiarized by another artist. BIGHIT MUSIC has yet to release a further statement regarding potential legal action.
