YG Entertainment announced that TREASURE's Kim Junkyu would be taking a temporary hiatus from all group activities on June 29, 2026. This decision was made to give Junkyu the opportunity to recover from his previously impaired health.
In an official statement on June 29, 2026, YG Entertainment explained that although Kim Junkyu is trying to carry out all the promotions for TREASURE's latest mini album, his health condition requires more attention.
The agency revealed, "We would like to inform you that TREASURE member KIM JUNKYU will be temporarily halting his activities for the time being." This shows that Junkyu's health is the top priority at this time.
After completing all official broadcast promotions for their mini album last week, the agency has decided that Junkyu will not be participating in TREASURE's activities, including the music video filming for the B-side track "DANGER" that was scheduled for the near future.
YG Entertainment asked for fans' understanding regarding this decision, stating, "He will also be unable to participate in the P/V (Promotional Video) filming for the B-side track 'DANGER' that was scheduled to take place soon. We ask for fans' understanding."
