Rosé finally released her latest single titled 'new trick' after a long hiatus from releasing a solo project. 'New Trick' opens Rosé's solo discography in 2026, after focusing on BLACKPINK's comeback and world tour throughout the year.
Notably, the music video for Rosé's latest song was recorded on an iPhone 18 Pro. 'New trick' is a collaborative project between the Australian BLACKPINK member and Apple. This music video is part of the celebration of the launch of Apple's latest flagship line.
The 'new trick' music video was directed by Dave Meyers, who previously directed BLACKPINK's 'JUMP' music video. Rosé returned to the studio with full control over her work. "New Trick" was composed and written by the Roseanne Park, in collaboration with Andrew Wells and Amy Allen.
Amy Allen is an American producer and songwriter whose hit songs are already well-known to you. She's the one behind Sabrina Carpenter's "Please, Please, Please" (2024) and "Espresso" (2024). This isn't the first time Amy Allen has worked with Rosé.
She was also involved in APT., including a series of albums from Rosie (2024), including 3am, Gameboy, Drinks and Coffee, Not the Same, Number One Girl, and Rosé's solo debut, On The Ground (2021).
