Kim Young Kwang and Lee Ju Myoung have been confirmed as the leads in the upcoming Korean drama, The Queen of Taming. The romantic comedy is scheduled to air on ENA in the first half of 2027. The news was announced by the production team on September 30, 2026.

In its statement, the production team said, "Kim Young Kwang and Lee Ju Myoung have been confirmed as cast members."  The drama will fill the Monday-Tuesday broadcast slot and is directed by Song Hyun Wook, who previously worked on the drama Would You Marry Me?

The Queen of Taming tells the story of Ji Yong, a hedge fund manager at the top of the financial world, and Woo Ri, a contract veterinarian at a zoo that Ji Yong later acquires. Their meeting brings the relationship between boss and employee into an unexpected power dynamic.

Kim Young Kwang will play Ma Ji Yong, a hedge fund manager known for his uncanny instincts when it comes to money and investments. He handles a staggering amount of money and must survive amidst the fierce competition of a conglomerate family.

Ji Yong's character is described as someone who never gives up until he gets what he wants. However, behind his business acumen, Ji Yong is actually inexperienced in love. This aspect gives his character a distinct appeal.

He's portrayed as a man who's incredibly tough when it comes to the world, but a novice when it comes to emotions. Meanwhile, Lee Ju Myoung plays Jo Woo Ri, a veterinarian with a strong character and immense courage.

Woo Ri is known as the "Queen of Taming" for her ability to calm animals, even when faced with wild beasts. She is also a brave woman who is undaunted by injustice. Woo Ri's encounter with Ji Yong changes both of their lives.

Ji Yong, described as being as wild as a wild animal, will face off against Woo Ri, known for her ability to tame animals. With this clash of opposing characters, The Queen of Taming is scheduled to premiere on ENA in the first half of 2027 and offers a romance with unusual relationship dynamics.
