Honor has just launched a new smartphone in its homeland China, called Honor Play 20. The company is offering a budget handset to Honor lovers. The key highlights of the phone are the Unisoc T610 chipset, dual rear cameras, and a 5,000 mAh battery. The device has up to 8GB of RAM which is good enough for a low-budget smartphone.
The Honor Play 20 provides a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display that carries a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a Unisoc 610T chipset including 2 x Cortex A75 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and 6 x Cortex A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz paired with Mali G52 GPU. At the heart, the dual-SIM handset runs on Android 10 OS with Magic UI 4.0 on the top.
The Honor Play 20 has 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, however, users can expand its storage capacity through a microSD card. The smartphone comes with a dual-camera setup on the back that houses a 13MP main camera sensor and a 2MP secondary camera sensor. The rear square module also comes with a LED flash. On the front penal, it features a 5MP camera for selfies and video calling.
Other features on the Honor Play 20 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, and GPS. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery. Honor Play 20 is available in four color options, i.e. Magic Night Black, Iceland White, Aurora Blue, and Titanium Silver. The Honor Play 20 comes with various memory variants and obviously different price tags. The base model 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage has been priced at Yuan 899. The 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage price is set at Yuan 1,099 and the top variant 8GB RAM with 128 internal storage comes at Yuan 1,399. The device is now available for pre-order through multiple online retailers and it will be available for purchase from April 29 in China.
