The Chinese Tech Giant Vivo’s new smartphone “Vivo Y71t” is now official. It is a mid-range smartphone and carries MediaTek’s Dimensity 810 SoC that supports 5G networks. The company provides an in-display fingerprint sensor, a five-layer liquid cooling system, a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen, and a 4,000mAh battery.
The Vivo Y71t comes with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90.1 percent screen-to-body ratio. The AMOLED display has 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone has brought an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset that clocks at 2ARM Cortex A55 and Cortex A76. The SoC is also paired with Mali MC2 GPU.
As for the camera, The Vivo Y71t has two cameras on the back panel with LED flash. The primary sensor is 64MP with an f/1.79 aperture and the secondary camera carries 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The smartphone includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication and comes with a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Vivo Y71t charges via up to 44W Flash charge fast charging technology. Speaking about dimensions, the smartphone measures 160.63 x 73.91 x 7.67mm and weighs 166.3 grams. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The handset comes in two colorways: Mirage, and Midnight Blue.
Other notable features are 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone includes a 16MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. Vivo has offered a 4,000mAh battery in the handset that delivers up to 14.5 hours of backup over 4G networks in a single charge.
The Vivo Y71t starts at CNY 1,799 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage model. There’s also another model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage that carries a price tag of CNY 1,999. For now, it is available for pre-orders in China, the sale will start from November 1. As of now, we have no information on when the smartphone will be available for other markets.
