Infinix ZERO 5G was announced in India as the new budget 5G smartphone from the Chinese Tech Company. The smartphone was already revealed in Nigeria last week and now today it debuted in India. As for the key highlights, the handset comes with fast refresh rate punch-hole display, MediaTek 5G chipset, triple rear camera, big battery, fast charging, and more.
Infinix ZERO 5G flaunts a 6.78 inches IPS LTPS display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate, FHD+ ( 1080 x 2460 pixels ) resolution, 500 nits peak brightness, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 168.73 x 76.53 x 8.77mm and weighs 199 grams. For connectivity options, the smartphone includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, 5G, 4G LTE, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5m headphone jack.
In terms of optics, the Infinix ZERO 5G features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel main lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone sports a 16-megapixel selfie snapper under the punch-hole at the top center. On the front software, the device comes running on Android 11 out of the box with XOS 10 skin on top.
Under the hood, the Infinix ZERO 5G comes powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset that comes paired with ARM Mali-G68 MP4 GPU. It is coupled with 8GB of RAM with 3GB extended RAM support and 128GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot up to 256GB. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mah battery and supports 33W fast charging.
For official pricing and availability, the Infinix ZERO 5G comes in a solo configuration of 8GB + 128GB priced at 19,990 in India. The company offered the smartphone in two color options namely Cosmic Black, and Skylight Orange. The handset will go for sale via e-commerce platform website Flipkart on 18th February at 12 PM.
