Poco M4 Pro 5G was announced in India as the new budget 5G smartphone from Xiaomi’s subsidiary brand. Although, the device was revealed globally back in November last year 2021. As for the key highlights, the handset comes with a 90Hz punch-hole display, MediaTek octa-core 5G chipset, dual rear camera, big battery, fast charging, and more.

Poco M4 Pro 5G flaunts a 6.6 inches IPS LCD display with a punch-hole at the top center, FHD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 90Hz fast refresh rate. Under the hood, The smartphone comes equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot option for more storage. It comes running on Android 11 OS out of the box with MIUI 12.5 skin on top

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Poco M4 Pro 5G features a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main lens, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with 119° FoV ( Field of View ). The smartphone boasts a 16-megapixel selfie under the punch-hole cutout. In terms of Dimensions, the handset measures 163.56 x 75.78 x 8.75mm and weighs 195 grams.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G is backed by a 5000mah battery and supports 33W fast charging. Sensors onboard, the smartphone sports an Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, IR blaster, Electronic compass, X linear motor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. For connectivity, the handset includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For official pricing and availability, the Poco M4 Pro 5G comes in three configurations: 4GB + 64GB priced at ₹14,999, 6GB + 128GB priced at ₹16,999 and 8GB + 128GB priced at ₹18,999. The Chinese tech company offered the smartphone in Power Black, POCO Yellow, and Cool Blue color options. The device will go for sale on February 22 at 12 pm via e-commerce platform website Flipkart.
