Lenovo has announced that its Legion Y90 handset will be unveiled on February 28 in China. The flagship gaming smartphone is also likely to arrive in the global markets in the coming months. It will sport a 144Hz AMOLED display, dual rear camera arrangement, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, and a 5,600mAh battery with 68W fast-charging support.

The Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming smartphone has been the subject of several leaks and rumors for several weeks now. Thankfully, the company has confirmed its arrival. It will debut as a successor to the Legion 2 Pro model. The device will rival premium gaming handsets such as the Nubia RedMagic 7 and ASUS ROG Phone 5 series. 

The Lenovo Legion Y90 will bear a 6.92-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2460 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. The handset will feature a rectangular screen with rounded corners, slim bezels, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and four ultrasonic buttons. The rear will sport RGB lighting, a dual camera setup, and two cooling fans.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Lenovo Legion Y90 will be fitted with a dual rear camera unit comprising a 64MP main snapper and a 16MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, it will sport a 44MP pop-up selfie camera mounted on the side. The smartphone will pack a 5,600mAh battery with 68W fast-charging support.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Legion Y90 will be fueled by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, coupled with up to to 18GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. On the front software, it will boot Android 12-based ZUI 13 skin OS out of the box. For connectivity options, it should offer support for , Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G, and GPS.

The official pricing and availability details of the Lenovo Legion Y90 will be announced by the company during the time of its launch. However, based on the specifications, it is expected to be priced around Rs. 55,000. The gaming smartphone is said to launch in Black, Blue, Cyan, Gold, Green, Grey, Red, Silver, and White colours.
