Redmi K50 Gaming Edition and Redmi K50 AMG F1 Champion Edition gaming smartphones have been launched in China on February 16. As for the key highlights, They come with 6.67-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoCs, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, a triple camera setup, Dual VC heat dissipation system, and 120W fast charging technology.

The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition comes with a 6.67-inch display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. At the heart, the handset runs on Android 12 and is powered by a 4,700mAh non-removable battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.

In terms of optics, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary camera; an 8-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 20-megapixel sensor.

On the front software, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition runs MIUI 13 is based on Android 12 OS out of the box and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The gaming smartphone is a dual-SIM mobile. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 162.50 x 76.70 x 8.50mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 210.00 grams. 

Connectivity options on the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, Infrared, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the gaming smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset was launched in Black, Blue, and Silver colours.
