Oneplus Nord CE 2 5G smartphone was announced in India along with the Oneplus TV Y1S series. The  handset was in rumors for more than a month and its design and key specs were already tipped by several leaks and now it has gone official today. The device comes with a fast refresh rate AMOLED display, MediaTek 5G chipset, triple rear camera, big battery, fast charging, 7.8mm thickness, and more.

Oneplus Nord CE 2 5G features a 6.43 inches fluid AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution, 90 Hz fast refresh rate, 409 PPI pixel density, HDR10+ support, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and sRGB and P3 color gamut support. The smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot up to 1TB. The device is running on Android 11 with Oxygen OS 11 skin on top.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Oneplus Nord CE 2 5G features a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 119-degree ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The smartphone sports a Sony IMX471 16-megapixel selfie camera under the punch-hole at the top left corner. Both front and rear cameras support EIS support. 

The Oneplus Nord CE 2 5G is packed with a 4500mah battery and supports 65W SuperVOOC fast charging. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, USB TYPE-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard, the Oneplus Nord CE 2 5G sports an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and under-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 160.6 x 73.2 x 7.8mm and weighs 173 grams.

For official pricing and availability, OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G comes in two configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB priced at Rs. 23,999 and 8GB RAM + 128GB priced at Rs. 24,999. The smartphone comes in two color options namely Bahama Blue and Gray Mirror. The handset will go for sale via e-commerce platform website Amazon, Oneplus online, and offline stores from February 22.
