Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G smartphone was announced in India as the upper mid-range 5G chipset along with Realme 9 Pro 5G. As for the key highlights, the handset comes with a fast refresh rate AMOLED display, MediaTek 5G chipset, Android 12 OS, Sony IMX766 primary sensor, big battery, fast charging, Vapor chamber cooling system, and more.
Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G features a 6.4 inches AMOLED display with Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, 90 Hz Refresh Rate, 20:9 Aspect Ratio, 90.80% Screen-to-Body Ratio, 98% NTSC, 100000:1 contrast ratio, and 430 nits brightness. The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 920 octa-core chipset paired with ARM Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. It is coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 of internal storage with expandable storage support via a microSD card slot. The device comes running on Android 12 with realme UI 3.0 skin on top.
In terms of optics, the Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G features a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide lens with 119.7-degree FoV ( Field of View ), and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The smartphone boasts a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 selfie sensor. The company also bundled the EIS-stabilization support in both rear and front cameras. The device measures 160.2 x 73.3 x 7.99mm in dimensions and weighs 182 grams.
The Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G is backed by a 4500mah battery and supports 60W fast charging. Sensors onboard, the phone has Magnetic Induction Sensor, Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Acceleration Sensor, Gyrometer, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. For connectivity, the handset includes 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/a/ac/ax, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, the device comes with Three Layer Graphite vapor cooling chamber, L1 WideVine Level, and DC Dimming.
For pricing and availability, Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G comes in three configurations: 6GB + 128GB priced at ₹24,999, 8GB + 128GB priced at ₹26,999 and 8GB + 256GB priced at ₹28,999. The smartphone comes in three color options namely Midnight Black, Aurora Green, and Sunrise Blue. The handset will go for sale on February 21 at 12 PM via e-commerce platform website Flipkart, realme offline, and online stores.
