Itel A27 was launched in India as the latest entry-level smartphone in the company’s A-series portfolio. The device runs on Android 11 OS (Go edition) and comes with face unlock support and a fingerprint sensor. It is powered by an unspecified processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The handset is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera.

The Itel A27 runs boasts a 5.45-inch FW+ IPS panel. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an unspecified quad-core 1.4GHz processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone has 32GB of internal storage that can be further increased (up to 32GB) with the help of a microSD card slot. On the software front, the device runs Android 11 Go Edition.

As far as cameras are concerned, there’s a single rear camera on the back – a 5-megapixel AI rear shooter and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera on the front. For biometrics and security, the Itel A27 includes a fingerprint sensor and support for face unlock.  The handset is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery.

For connectivity options, the Itel A27 offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, micro USB, 3.5mm jack, and FM Radio. The predecessor, the Itel A26 arrived back in September last year 2021 and was powered by a UniSoc SC9832e processor, packed in a 3,020 mAh battery, and had a similar camera setup.

For official pricing and availability in India, The itel A27 is priced at Rs. 5,999(~$80) for the lone 2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. The smartphone has three color options – Crystal Blue, Deep Gray, and Silver Purple. The handset is already available in the offline market in India.
