Poco X4 Pro 5G was announced in India as the new budget 5G smartphone from Xiaomi’s sub-brand. It is the successor of the Poco X3 Pro that went official last year 2021. As for the key highlights, the smartphone comes with a 6.67 inches Super AMOLED display, a fast refresh rate display, Qualcomm’s octa-core 5G chipset, triple rear camera, big battery, fast charging, and more. 

Poco X4 Pro 5G flaunts a 6.67 inches Super AMOLED display with Ful-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, 120Hz fast refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered by a Snapdragon 695 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with an Adreno 619 GPU. At the heart, the device is running on Android 11 OS out of the box with MIUI 13 skin on top.

The Poco X4 Pro 5G features a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an F/1.8 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The handset is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 67W fast charging. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 164.19 x 76.1 x 8.12mm and weighs 205 grams. 

As for the RAM and storage, It is accompanied by up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot up to 1TB.  For connectivity options, the smartphone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, an IR blaster, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard, the phone includes an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

For official pricing and availability, the Poco X4 Pro 5G comes in three configurations: 6GB + 64GB priced at Rs. 18,999, 6GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 19,999 and 8GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 21,999. It comes in three color options namely Laser Black, Poco Yellow and Laser Blue. The smartphone will go for sale on April 5 at 12 PM via e-commerce platform store Flipkart in India. The company has provided a discount of Rs. 1,000 for HDFC credit card or EMI users.
