Chinese tech giant, Realme is gearing up to launch a new budget-range device, called the C35, in India. In the latest development, the company has announced that the smartphone will make its debut here on March 7. It was first introduced in Thailand last month. As for the key highlights, the smartphone features a Full-HD+ LCD display, a UNISOC chip, a 50MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Realme has seen incredible growth in India and currently has the second-largest share in the country's smartphone market. The brand's growth has been driven by feature-packed cost-effective handsets. The C35 is another phone that comes from the same mold. Although we don't know much about the India-specific version, it seems to be identical to the device that was launched in Thailand.
The Realme C35 packs a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2408 pixels) IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20:9, a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7%, and 600-nits of peak brightness. The handset sports a waterdrop notch design with a prominent bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it has a rectangular camera unit. It also has TUV Rheinland certification for eye protection.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme C35 flaunts a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP black-and-white portrait lens. Up front, it sports an 8MP selfie shooter. On the front software, the smartphone boots Android 11-based Realme UI R Edition.
Under the hood, The Realme C35 is fueled by a UNISOC T616, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the smartphone offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a Type-C port.
Realme will disclose the official pricing and availability details of the C35 in India at the time of its launch. In Thailand, it starts at THB 5,799 (roughly Rs. 13,600).The device will also launch in two colours – Glowing Black and Glowing Green. We expect it to carry a price-tag in the same range in India.
