Samsung has launched two new Galaxy A series smartphones, called the A13 and A23. The company is yet to reveal the official pricing of the handsets, however, according to Android Planet, the Galaxy A13 starts at €189 (around Rs. 15,800) for the 4GB/64GB variant. The same report also claims that the A13 is up for pre-booking via Belsimpel in the Netherlands.

The latest additions to Samsung's Galaxy A series, the A13 and A23, are budget-range smartphones with 4G connectivity. They are successors to last year's Galaxy A12 and A22. There is also a Galaxy A13 5G handset in the market. However, the two new A series devices have more similarities to each other than their predecessors.

The Samsung Galaxy A13 and A23 bear a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2408 pixels) LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The handsets feature a waterdrop notch design with a noticeable bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, they sport a quad camera unit.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A13 is fueled by an Exynos 850 chipset, while the details of the processor of the Galaxy A23 are not available. The smartphones are offered with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, they boot Android 12-based One UI 4.1 OS out of the box. 

In terms of optics, The Samsung Galaxy A13 and A23 are equipped with a quad rear camera setup, including a 50MP (f/1.8) main shooter, a 5MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro snapper, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, they sport an 8MP (f/2.2) selfie camera. The smartphone house a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support.

Samsung is yet to disclose the official pricing and availability details of the Galaxy A13 and A23. However, according to a report, the A13 is available for pre-orders in the Netherlands. It starts at €189 (around Rs. 15,800) for the 4GB/64GB model. They are available in Blue, Peach, White, and Black color options.
