Stray Kids proved that they are the icon of this generation's K-Pop boy group. They show this through their latest achievements on the Hanteo album chart. Recently, Stray Kids released an album titled 5-STAR. As of June 9, 2023, this album has been named the album with the highest first-week sales in the history of the Hanteo chart.

During the first week of June, from 2 to 8 June 2023, the 5-STAR album has sold a total of 4,617,499 copies. This figure has more than doubled from Stray Kids' previous album MAXIDENT which achieved first-week sales of 2,163,349. Stray Kids broke SEVENTEEN's record with their FML album which was released last April.

SEVENTEEN's previous album broke Hanteo's historical record with first week sales of 4,550,214 copies. The sales figure in the first week follows the pre-order record that Stray Kids got for the same album. Previously it was reported that the album was ordered for more than 4.93 million copies as of May 30, 2023.

This figure is also a record for a K-Pop group in the number of pre-orders. The 5-STARS album will contain 12 songs including Hall of Fame, S-Class, Item, Super Bowl, Topline (feat. Tiger JK), DLC, Get Lit, Collision, FNF, Youtiful, The Sound (Korean version), Mixtape: Time Out. Bangchan, Changbin, and Han continued to take part in the music production for this album.

They collaborated with a number of arrangers such as Versachoi, Chae, REstart, Djurich, Trippy, Nickko Young, LaRocca, Reynolds, Millionboy, and Jun2. Now Stray Kids is in the 5-STARS album promotion period. Previously they had received two trophies from appearances on TV music shows.

One from MBC's Show Champion and one song from Mnet's M! Countdown. The song S-Class, which is the title track of this album, has also garnered attention not only for its music and rap, but also for their slick dance performances. Not long ago Stray Kids also appeared dancing to their song's choreography on the popular YouTube show Studio CHOOM.
