George Miller, as the director and creator of the Mad Max series, really likes films in black and white format. Previously, he released a black and white version of Mad Max: Fury Road – Black and Chrome in 2016. George Miller is also rumored to be doing the same thing for the new film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
The film will have a special edition in black and white called Tinted Black & Chrome. In the latest episode of Happy Sad Confused, George Miller was asked if there would be a black-and-white version of the film Furiosa. He clearly answered that a black and white version would indeed exist and production had been completed.
" We already made it. This was the last thing I did in making this film, and I called it Tinted Black & Chrome. I have to say it's very interesting, I'm still trying to understand why black and white for me has something more fundamental," explained George Miller, quoted on Tuesday May 28, 2024.
Currently, there is no further information regarding the black and white version of the film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga . If we look at Mad Max: Fury Road , the black and white version arrived a year after the original film was released. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is part of a prequel set more than a decade before the events in Mad Max: Fury Road occur.
The story follows the journey of the young soldier Imperator Furiosa trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. He was kidnapped from his home in the Green Place of Many Mothers by a cunning Warlord named Dementus, and his Biker Horde.
While Dementus and Immortan Joe compete for control of the barren desert, Furiosa must confront every conflict that comes her way as she seeks revenge on her kidnappers and attempts to return home. This film stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson, and Quaden Bayles. You can watch the story in cinemas, which was shown on May 22, 2024.
