Who here likes Korean dramas with a time traveling theme? This drama can be said to be one of the dramas with the most complete genre! There are stories about a fan's love for their idol, super exciting high school teenage love, sweet college love, and even stories about random serial killers.

Yes, the drama I'm discussing is a drama that just finished yesterday. None other than the drama ' Lovely Runner '. Are you curious about the synopsis and review of this drama? Come on, read this article until the end!

This drama, starring Byeon Wooseok and Kim Hyeyeon, tells the story of Ryu Sunjae (played by Byeon Wooseok) who is an idol with many fans since he debuted. Even though he seems to have a perfect life, in fact Sunjae feels tired because of the harsh world of entertainment .

On the other hand, there is Im Sol (played by Kim Hyeyeon) who is a loyal fan of Ryu Sunjae. He is a survivor of an accident as a teenager which made him lose his ability to walk and now relies on a wheelchair for his life. He gained the strength to continue living thanks to Ryu Sunjae's songs.

This story begins when Im Sol hears the news of Sunjae's death. As a fan, of course Sol doesn't take it for granted. He also experienced a strange incident. He went back in time to exactly 15 years ago! Sol reunites with Sunjae and he is determined to change fate and save Sunjae.

Watching the chemistry that was built naturally between Byeon Wooseok and Kim Hyeyeon was a weekly ' healing ' for me. This drama, which airs every two days a week, makes my Mondays and Tuesdays more colorful. This type of drama is one of my favorites.

Even though the main theme of this drama is time travel , there are many other genres that are also used, as I explained at the beginning. Im Sol's journey into the past to change fate and save her idol turns out to hold many question marks which make the storyline even more exciting.

I personally really enjoy every episode. I'm the type of drama viewer who likes to follow dramas from the start, aka on going . It is indeed very exciting to be part of the journey of this drama. Byeon Wooseok and Kim Hyeyeon's acting, which looked very natural, managed to steal the attention of many viewers.

In fact, many viewers held a nobar, aka watched together the last episode of this drama, both viewers in South Korea and in Indonesia itself. If you like time traveling genre dramas , this drama must be on your watch list. There are at least three periods that the characters go through, namely high school, college, and now when they are 34 years old.

At any time, there are always plot twists and surprises waiting. One thing I like about this drama, apart from the undoubted chemistry of the actors, is the writer and director's skill in moving from one scene to another. There is one moment when we will be invited to laugh because of the freak actions of Sunjae and Imsol.

In the next second we will be presented with a scene that will make us nervous when the villain , aka serial killer, appears. In my opinion, the plot of this drama is very neatly structured. Each character seems to have their own appropriate portion and contributes to the coloring of this drama.

I like all the characters, except Kang Taxi, aka the villain , aka the serial killer, who is the biggest terror in this drama. Taesung's character, the second lead who also loves Im Sol, really deserves a partner and a happy life path. His sacrifice for Im Sol and Sunjae so that they could be together was no joke.

Lastly, one thing that really bothered me was the story about the villain. It turns out that some of the viewers' guesses on social media were correct that he was just a random serial killer who also chose his victims randomly. His life just ended like that, even though I thought there would be another plot twist .

However, this is not a problem because the ending of this drama is very, very happy, according to the audience's expectations. Finally, Byeon Wooseok got a role in a drama with a happy ending , even though he had to die many times in each timeline of this drama.
