Super Junior's Ryeowook officially married a former member of the Tahitian girl group, Ari, on Sunday May 26, 2024. The wedding of the two musicians from South Korea was held privately, attended by relatives and families of both parties.
The wedding ceremony was also attended by Super Junior (SuJu) members through photos shared by fans on social media. All SuJu members appeared to be present to celebrate Ryeowook and Ari's wedding. This moment suddenly became popular on social media because it was also a reunion event for Super Junior after many years.
In the photos that were spread, Ryeowook looked handsome in a black and white suit. He was seen holding Ari who was wearing a white dress while holding a bouquet of roses in his hand. In fact, there is one photo that also shows the bride and groom taking a photo together with the 13 original members of Super Junior.
All the members posed together with Ryeowook and Ari, starting from Yesung, Leeteuk, Heechul, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Sungmin, and Kyuhyun. Three former SuJu members are no less active in posing, such as Kibum, Kangin, and Hangeng.
Apart from that, a number of other photos show Super Junior moments with the formation of 15 members, including Zhoumi and Henry as members of Super Junior-M. Ryeowook and Ari's marriage was revealed to the public on March 29 2024. Ryeowook wrote a special open letter to SuJu fans who are familiarly called ELF.
Ryeowook did not forget to thank ELF who has always supported him since his debut until he is now 38 years old. "I decided to hold a wedding this spring at the end of May," wrote the musician. Ryeowook previously confirmed the news of dating Ari in 2020. This news came after the two were caught on a date which immediately became popular on social media.
According to several sources, Ryeowook and Ari first met and became close after being introduced by their respective colleagues before developing into lovers. "Ryeowook and Ari are close as senior and junior. We confirm that this closeness has developed into a romantic relationship (dating)," said Label SJ, reported by SPOTV via Naver.
