The proof is, Jimin successfully won the second trophy for the latest song ' Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)' on the ' M Countdown ' stage this week. On Thursday July 18, 2024, Mnet's weekly music show 'M Countdown' came with a special episode celebrating its 20th anniversary.
On that occasion, 2 songs were nominated as first place candidates. Among them was the song 'Klaxon' by girl group (G)I-DLE, against the song 'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band' by Jimin BTS featuring Loco. Quoting from the official X social media account of KPOP Music Show Analysis, the song 'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band' by Jimin BTS featuring Loco managed to reach the first position with a score of 6,966 points.
Meanwhile, the song 'Klaxon' by (G)I-DLE is in the second position with a score of 6,147 points. This is the second win for the song 'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band' on the weekly music stage. It also managed to achieve a double crown on the 'M Countdown' program after winning for 2 consecutive weeks. This victory also marks Jimin's 8th trophy on the weekly music stage as a solo singer.
Following the two songs at the top, Mnet's weekly music program 'M Countdown' also announced the top 10 rankings for this week. In third place is Kiss of Life's 'Sticky'; in fourth place is ENHYPEN's 'XO (Only If You Say Yes)'; and in fifth place is Lee Young Ji's 'Small Girl' featuring EXO's D.O.
Next, the sixth position is occupied by the song 'Forever' by BabyMonster; the seventh position is the song 'Boom Boom Bass' by RIIZE; and the eighth position is the song 'Cosmic' by Red Velvet. The ninth position is filled by the song 'If I'm S, Can You Be My N?' by TWS; and the tenth position is filled by the song 'Justice' by Dreamcatcher.
The special stage celebrating the 20th anniversary of Mnet's weekly music program 'M Countdown' this week was also enlivened by a number of special stages.
