For those who have followed NCT since the SM Rookies era, you must know that Jaehyun is one of the strong vocalists in the group. This year, the man whose full name is Jung Jaehyun will officially release his solo album!
It's about time actually. Previously Doyoung had released an album that was well received by music listeners, now it's Jaehyun's turn to release an album titled J. What makes me excited about this album? Lots!
First of course because this is Jaehyun's first solo album. In NCT and NCT 127's discography, you can easily find Jaehyun's voice in all the songs. You can even hear more of his vocals in the sub-unit NCT-DOJAEJUNG. But this time, one album is filled with Jaehyun's golden voice!
Each vocalist in NCT has a vocal color that is their strength. Specifically for Jaehyun, his Tenor voice is synonymous with the word 'smooth'. He can try out vocals in the low tone area very well, but is also amazing in the high tone.
Jaehyun's quality, voice color, and vocal range can open up a lot of possibilities regarding the selection of styles and songs that will be featured on the upcoming J album. Although so far we have only been shown the visuals, I am really excited to look forward to a special presentation that Jaehyun has never presented with NCT or DOJAEJUNG before.

There is a mature impression (and easter eggs from the song/album DOJAEJUNG Perfume) but there is also a little casual side that he shows. Some scenes also feel like in a dreamland. J's album will be released on August 26, 2024.
