Son Naeun recently talked about her character in the new Korean drama titled ' Romance in the House '. 'Romance in the House' tells the story of a man who divorced his wife and was forced to separate from his family because all his businesses failed.
However, one day he reappears in front of his family as the owner of the building where they live. Son Naeun revealed the reason she was attracted to the drama's storyline. "The script tells the story of a family who loves each other intensely, hates each other, and eventually heals through each other.
It's both interesting and touching," Son Naeun said as quoted by Soompi on July 31, 2024. In this drama, Son Naeun plays Byun Mi Rae, the eldest daughter who becomes the head of the family because her mother divorced her father. Byun Mi Rae is described as a responsible daughter.
“She is a great woman who above all wants to protect her mother, her irreplaceable best friend and long-time hero,” said Son Naeun. According to Son Naeun, the interesting thing about Byun Mi Rae's character is her strong figure and her prioritizing family.
However, as time goes by, Byun Mi Rae becomes more honest with her emotions and grows stronger. “Watching her overcome her wounds and find her true self made me see her as a character worth emulating. I felt a strong desire to grow with her, which is why I wanted to be a part of this drama,” said Son Naeun.
