BIGHIT MUSIC spoke out about the arrest of a woman who was stalking BTS's V. On Thursday, October 26, 2023, a woman in her 20s was arrested for following V to his apartment. The woman tried to talk to V by waiting outside the building.
When V arrived at the apartment in his car, she followed V's steps until he entered the apartment building. The next morning, the woman was arrested by the police. Reportedly, she planned to submit a marriage certificate to the singer whose real name is Kim Tae Hyung.
The information was then used by the police to arrest the woman. Police also revealed that the woman had a record of stalking V in the past. It is not yet known whether there will be further action from the authorities.
On, Friday, October 27, 2023, BIGHIT MUSIC stated, “We are responding with a zero-tolerance policy towards crimes that stalk and interfere with the lives of our artists and threaten their safety.” This news came along with rumors that dragged BTS's name .
The 7-member group was said to be one of the artists related to actor Lee Sun Kyun's drug case. The agency later released a statement, “BTS is not involved in the rumors at all, and the rumors are completely untrue.”
"We will take legal action against the spread of these rumors," concluded the agency. Apart from BTS, a number of names such as Kim Chaewon LE SSERAFIM, Jeon Soyeon (G)I-DLE, and singer Park Sun Joo also denied the circulating news.
