Boy group WayV will soon make a comeback with their sixth mini album titled ' Frequency ' which will be released on November 25, 2024. Ahead of the release of the latest album, WayV has also shared a music video teaser for the title song of the same name.
Through an upload on the SMTOWN YouTube channel on Sunday November 24, 2024. In the music video teaser for the song 'Frequency' this time, WayV carries a dark concept, where the five members transform into bad boys who have powers related to radio waves.
It opens with a scene of 5 lights that look like falling meteors which then turn into the members of WayV who appear with their intense and serious gazes. The next scene shows the members seemingly causing chaos in several places. And showing off their power to control something using frequency waves.
Following the dark video concept, WayV also presented a totally hip hop performance for the title song 'Frequency' through fun choreography that flows to the beat of the song. Meanwhile, the main song 'Frequency' is a hip hop dance song with a strong touch of old school music style.
The lyrics of the song convey a message to us to go to a new and different dimension and listen to the frequencies they present. This song is expected to showcase WayV's strong charm, which is different from their previous mini album comeback 'Give Me That' which carried a more funky old school music concept.
On the other hand, WayV's sixth mini album titled 'Frequency' will be officially released on all digital music platforms starting November 25, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. KST. Along with the title song's music video which will also be uploaded on the SMTOWN YouTube channel on the same day and time.
