Good news comes for lovers of the Korean drama Reborn Rich. After the huge success of its first season, the drama starring Song Joong Ki will officially continue to the second season. Artist Group, which consists of Artist Company and its subsidiary Artist Studio, confirmed that they are currently in the planning and development stage for the drama Reborn Rich Season 2.
Quoting from Soompi on Friday May 9, 2025 Artist Group gave the news and marked the first collaboration project between Artist Company, which was founded by famous actors Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung, with Artist Studio, the production house that now holds control over the series after acquiring RaemongRaein, the studio that produced the first season.
Artist Company, previously known as an artist management agency, is now starting to expand its business scope into drama content production. Through this project, they aim to become a major player in the world of Korean drama production, especially by reaching the global market.
The first season of Reborn Rich became one of the most successful Korean dramas in recent years. The drama presents a suspenseful story of betrayal, revenge, and reincarnation, set against the backdrop of the intrigue-filled business world of South Korean conglomerate families.
The main character in the first season is Yoon Hyun-woo (played by Song Joong Ki), a loyal secretary of the Sunyang Group family. Despite serving for more than 10 years, he was betrayed, framed for embezzlement, and eventually killed by the family he served wholeheartedly. But Hyun-woo's story doesn't end there.
After his death, he was reborn in the body of Jin Do-joon, the youngest grandson of the Sunyang family.
