The agency that houses BIGBANG's G-Dragon has again released a statement regarding their artist's relationship circulating on the internet. This time, G-Dragon is rumored to be in a relationship with actress Lee Joo Yeon. News of their relationship began circulating in 2017.
Although denied by both parties, the news continued to circulate and even circulated again this year. One day, Lee Joo Yeon uploaded a photo with her pet which then led to speculation that she was at G-Dragon's house.
The similarity of the interior was the beginning of the relationship news. "We would like to inform you that the news of G-Dragon and Lee Joo Yeon's relationship is not true. Thank you," said Galaxy Corporation.
In the previous week, G-Dragon's agency also released a statement regarding the idol's relationship with TWICE's Sana being untrue. Last April 2025, G-Dragon attended Coldplay's concert in Seoul where TWICE was the opening act.
G-Dragon shared moments from the concert and mentioned Sana's Instagram account. As a result, news of their relationship began to emerge considering that Sana appeared with TWICE there.
Realizing that his upload was getting crowded, G-Dragon immediately deleted the upload. Galaxy Corporation, G-Dragon's agency, released a statement two months later to clarify the news.
"We are making a statement to clarify the situation regarding the rumors about G-Dragon's relationship. G-Dragon filmed for the variety show Dex and Sana's Fridge Interview on April 14, 2025, which is the day after Good Day," G-Dragon's agency explained on Monday, June 2, 2025, 2025.
