South Korean actor Park Jun Hwi is currently in the public spotlight because he was involved in a scandal with artist Woo Jin Young. They were supposed to appear in the musicals Bare: A Pop Opera and Nijinsky, but they have now pulled out.

The controversy arose early Thursday June 5, 2025 when a photo appeared on his Instagram showing Park Jun Hwi and Woo Jin Young wearing underwear with their heads down.

The photo is believed to have been uploaded, then deleted, from an acquaintance's Instagram Story. However, this photo has already gone viral and given rise to various speculations. Park Jun Hwi is known as one of the talented actors in the world of South Korean musical theater.

His love for theater began during his school days, when he was introduced to an actor from the Busan City Theater Company through her parents. After watching the rehearsals at the theater agency, he began to dream of becoming a musical actor who could perform acting and vocals simultaneously on stage.

Park Jun Hwi has an attractive appearance, a clear and powerful voice, and outstanding vocal abilities—especially his ability to maintain pitch in the dynamics of intense stage movements. It is this quality that makes him stand out among his peers.

Thanks to his solid acting and singing skills, Park has continued to actively participate in various productions since his debut in 2016 with Secretly, Greatly. He has also been involved in the production of Goddess and Fire Sonata.

There are also Nijinsky, Rimbaud, Gyeongjpng Sujeong Annals, Goddess is Watching, Fan Letter, Smoke, Letters for You, Goodbye, Summer, and many more. Unfortunately, the scandal involving him tarnished his name.

In fact, Peter's role in the musical Bare: The Musical will be replaced by Kang Byung-hoon, while Tanya's role will be taken over by Park Do-yeon. The production team (Showplay Entertainment) is also offering full refunds to viewers affected by this change.
